Football games to watch on Thanksgiving

VPN for livestreaming Thanksgiving football matches

Thanksgiving Day can mean a lot of things to different people. For many, it’s that time of the year for catch up conversations with family members. For some, it’s all about roast turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. For others, it’s one whole day of Thanksgiving Day football matches.

Not everyone will be able to watch the games, though, especially those who have work during the holidays. This is because many office Internet connections have filters that prevent workers from accessing content like these.

Students who won’t be home for Thanksgiving and are currently residing in dorms that restrict access to similar content will also find livestreaming Thanksgiving football matches challenging. To bypass these restrictions, they will need a virtual private network (VPN).

November 24 football games

  1. Vikings @ Lions

The Lions have always held football matches on Thanksgiving annually, something that has become a part of the team’s holiday traditions since holding the first game of its kind in 1934. For this year, the Detroit Lions are slated to face off against the Minnesota Vikings, with the coming match-up being the fourth between the two teams in the games’ 77-year run. The game will take place at 12:30 PM ET at Ford Field.

  1. Redskins @ Cowboys

Just like the Lions, the Cowboys have always held a Thanksgiving match every year, regardless of their performance in the league games. The Cowboys started their own Thanksgiving tradition much later than the Lions, hosting their first holiday match in 1966. The Dallas Cowboys will take the field with long-time rivals the Washington Redskins on game day, and is set to kick off at 4:30 PM ET at the AT&T Stadium.

  1. Steelers @ Colts

This year, the primetime slot for football games on Thanksgiving Day will be taken by the match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts, which also marks the first time the latter is hosting a Thanksgiving game. The match will kick off at 8:30 PM ET at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
