Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed the cyber-security bill, CISPA, which allows corporations to break their privacy contracts. This means companies are allowed to share your private data with the government without a warrant. In result, we lose our online privacy.
Co-Founder of Reddit and Internet Freedom Activist, Alexis Ohanian, publicly voices his opinion about CISPA by posting a viral video online. You can watch the video by clicking here. Ohanian makes an effort to contact the founders of Google, Facebook and Twitter in hopes that they will help defeat this controversial cyber-security bill. SOPA(Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA(Protect IP Act) were both successfully defeated in the past, so there is a possibility CISPA can be defeated too. Now we need your help to stop CISPA! Protect your online privacy.
