When to Watch the Matches

The first match of UEFA Euro 2016 airs on Friday, June 10, 2016. This first game is between France and Romania. The game starts at 9 p.m. CET, so depending on where you are in the world, this may or may not be a convenient time. For example, if you live in Hawaii, this is 10 a.m. In Hong Kong, however, the match starts at 4 a.m.

Matches occur almost daily between June 10 through July 10. Tournament times vary, but they usually happen between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. CET. See when your favorite teams are playing by taking a look at the UEFA Euro 2016 schedule.

What to Anticipate

As you’re getting ready for the games, there are several games to look forward to. All teams still in the running are at the top of their game since they’ve made it this far through the European Qualifiers matches. Spain is the defending champion this year, but they will be up against three-time winner Germany. This is the 12th year Germany has made an appearance in UEFA Euro.

On top of several multi-year winners, the 2016 championship includes three teams from pot five. These underdogs — Iceland, Albania, and Northern Ireland — have some major momentum this year. With so many teams that have great prospects, it’s no surprise that this year is expected to be interesting.

Why Use a VPN

When you’re getting ready to watch the games, you don’t want to have to watch clips and highlights only. When you use your VPN, you can watch the entirety of each match. In fact, you can stream the games no matter where you are in the world. All you need to do is change the IP address or virtual location to access the stations you wouldn’t otherwise be able to see. If you’re a true sports fan, use Hotspot Shield VPN to get the access you need.

Using Hotspot Shield Elite allows you to choose from any of the virtual locations offered, which includes more than 15 countries. The paid version of Hotspot Shield also allows you to browse the Internet without ad support. Learn more about the differences between Hotspot Shield Free basic version and premium Elite one here.

Get geared up and ready to watch UEFA Euro 2016. Armed with the match schedule and your VPN, you can keep up with every game or just watch your favorite team.
